We were all so caught up with the high tempo of the match, which make us ignorant of what was happening at the entrance of the viewing center.
It was the sound of a gun shot coming from the entrance that diverted our attention to the entrance.
The owner of the Viewing center have just been shot, and immediately, 3 heavily built guys entered the center with pistols in there hands. They shot rapidly into the air and everybody reasoned with one mind that, the shooting means they want us to vacate the premises instantly.
I was the first to get out, and immediately i stepped outside, i took off my shoes and ran as fast as my legs could carry me, and i was panting and shouting 'shango ooo, lukoso ooo' as i ran very fast away.
I got to a very secluded area and i stopped and bend down to catch my breath for like thirty seconds when someone suddenly bumped into me from the back.
Frightened and startled at the same time, i screamed 'Shango ooo'. I turned around only to be met with the sight of the lady that was sitting beside me at the viewing center panting heavily.
"am so..rr..ry..i..i didn't
mean to...to scare you". She said, while trying to catch her breath.
"its okay.." i glanced around, hoping to see her boyfriend, but after looking in all directions and couldn't catch a glimpse of him. "where is your boyfriend?" i asked.
"i think they got him". She replied, now standing upright to face me. I can see fear in her hazel eyes.
"what? Who got him?".
"the guys that came with gun".
"how come? Why didn't he run away when everybody was running?" i queried.
"i think he was the target. They didn't allow him to get out. i waited for him to come out, but when i didn't see him, i decided to run after you". She replied and moved closer to me. "pls take me away from here. I beg of you,". I will be the latest fool in town, if i turn down such opportunity, but i need to thread cautiously.
"don't you live around here?" i asked.
"nope. Am here on a visit. Pls lets go to your place". She pleaded.
"ok. But hope i won't later regret this?".
"no..no.. I promise you wont regret and I will make it up to you, just take me out of here". She pleaded. It was getting dark already, I grab her hand and head for my house.
Throughout the walk home, with this beautiful baby, i can't help but smile at the kind of luck am having today.

We got home at exactly 8:45pm, i met everybody's absence.
I checked under the footmat, and got my keys to open the door.
We got inside, and she requested to use the toilet. I led her to the entrance and return to the room.
There was light, i switch on the fan and rested on the bed. I checked my phone and saw thirteen missed calls on it. 3 from Jide, 4 from an unsaved number, and 6 from Joke.
I decided to call Joke first, i dialed her number and she picked at the second ring. "hello".
"hi, thank Gawd. You've got me so worried". She replied, she sounds very happy.
"am sorry, just that something unexpected came up after i left your place".
"what..hope its not something bad?",she sounds very concerned.
"well, it almost got bad, but thank Shan.. I mean thank Gawd, i excaped unscathed.",i narrated everything that happened to her, except the part where i came home with a strange lady and she was really happy i got home safely.
"you know, thats why its necessary for me to know your place, even if i don't come, my sister can.....". I didn't let her finish before i interrupted her.
"and what happened today, is also the reason why i can't allow you guys to come. Its very dangerous." after a lot of arguement, she succeded in convincing me to allow her sister visit me. Ok, i can't pretend am not happy about it but i need to put up some stunts myself. We said our goodbyes and hung up.
I dialed Jide's number and he picked at the third ring.
"hello, guy, how na?"
"Darous, i don dey call you since", he was talking as if in a hurry.
"guy, calm down, wetin dey happen? Where u dey?"
"me? I don comot for area o. U no hear wetin happen for viewing center ni?".
" i hear ke?, i was there live and direct." i answered.
"what? Are you ok? Hope u are not hurt?"
"yes dude. Am alright."
"rumour has it, that they are cult members, that they came for a guy at the viewing center".
"yes, i..i think i heard, and i get gist for you on that".
"ok. Later. Bye, be safe bro."
"you too bro". With that, we ended the call, and i was about dialing the unknown number when the lady walked back in.
She was claded only with pants and bra. Her hair was wet, which only means that she have showered. I couldn't stop staring at her very damn sexy body and my konji have started doing somehow.
I did the cross sign and sighed..'oh gawd of shango, thanks for this opportunity' i prayed thoughtfully.
